As they continue to grow, they are looking for a hands-on and people-focused Operations Manager to help bring structure, process, and consistency to their expanding operations.
This senior leadership role will oversee daily plant operations across production, maintenance, and supervision, while working closely with quality, safety, logistics, and HR to ensure alignment with long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily operations through a hands-on approach with supervisors, skilled trades, and frontline staff, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality performance.
- Drive process development and continuous improvement across all departments, bringing clarity and structure to how work is executed from start to finish.
- Foster a collaborative and respectful workplace culture, building strong relationships with unionized and salaried employees alike.
- Champion a quality-focused mindset, ensuring best practices are consistently applied and understood throughout the organization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align operations with broader business goals, including production planning, logistics, and workforce development.
- Establish clear expectations, consistent procedures, and accountability within the operations team, while being open to feedback and ideas from all levels.
- Lead by example, with a strong presence on the floor and a commitment to building trust, structure, and long-term operational strength.
Qualification
- Proven leadership experience in a dynamic manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally with exposure to custom or process-based operations.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma or equivalent practical experience).
- Demonstrated ability to lead in a unionized setting, with a people-first approach that values listening, relationship-building, and respectful communication.
- Skilled at developing and implementing processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and clarity across departments.
- Comfortable navigating evolving responsibilities and helping build structure in a growing, hands-on business.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Post-secondary education in operations, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
