Our Government client is looking for a Records Management & Information Governance Manager (Government)
Length: 12 months contract with the possibility of extension
Location: Hamilton, ON (hybrid); may be required to work Monday - Thursday at the Caesars' Windsor Casino
Working Hours: 9 am to 5 pm, 7.25 hours per day

Requirements:
ROLE MANDATE:
The Enterprise RM Senior Manager will collaborate in the development, revision and implementation of EDRM policies and procedures regarding physical and electronic document storage, retention classification, sharing, transmission, and destruction.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
 Support implementation of retention policies at Caesar's Windsor Casino through workshops, review of appropriate classifications based on retention policies, day to day tasks as required in support of the overall initiative
 Collaborate in the development, revision and implementation of EDRM policies and procedures regarding physical and electronic document storage, retention classification, sharing, transmission, and destruction
 Collaborate in the documentation of processes and procedures related to the implementation and management of governance in the M365 environment to manage digital information and record lifecycle requirements
 Supports the implementation of Records Management functions in a Microsoft 365 (M365) environment in compliance with the EDRM program
 Support business areas in the design, implementation and use of M365 apps and features in alignment with EDRM requirements and an established Governance Plan
 Collaborate in the creation and implementation of training materials for M365, recordkeeping requirements for structured data, and compliance with a recordkeeping program
 Work with business areas to ensure that physical and electronic records and information are retained, archived, and/or disposed of in accordance with established records management policies and procedures and applicable legislation
 Work with IT development teams to implement recordkeeping requirements for structured database application design, modification, and decommissioning
 Work with a team to design, document, coordinate and monitor the repatriation of unstructured physical and digital records from an outgoing service provider
 Support the management of physical records in a third-party records storage facility

QUALIFICATIONS:
 Associate or bachelor's degree in related field, such as Library Science, Information Management, IT, and/or a graduate certificate related to information and records management, or equivalent work experience
 Specialist designation and training in the Records Management and Information Governance areas, such as a Certified Records Management (CRM), Certified Information Professional (CIP), Information Governance Professional (IGP), would be an asset
 5 years of related experience in records management, preferably in a government or highly regulated industry
 Experience introducing records management controls into a SharePoint environment
Qualifications:
TECHINICAL SKILL SET:
 Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a diverse environment and interact openly with individuals of different backgrounds
 Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple tasks
 Expertise in best practices and developments in records management technologies and techniques
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
 Experience working in government or highly regulated industries
 Experience utilizing records management software an asset
 Experience implementing governance in M365 an asset
 Familiarity with importing/exporting data to and from document management systems and Shared Drives
 Familiarity with industry best practices and information governance
 Very proficient with Microsoft software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
 Experience with Project Management methodologies an asset
 Able to lift up to 35 lbs. is required
